We are located on picturesque Cape Breton island, 25 minutes north of the
Canso Causeway on Route 19. As you drive in the main entrance on Stoney Brook
Road, you see that the Inn is unique! It was built
by the owner/innkeeper and local craftsmen. It was constructed over a period of five years and is built out of 5000 juniper logs from the
owner's woods. Our hand crafted log get-a-away has several rooms each with a private bath on three levels. Plus there are Meadow Suites
with kitchens available in the adjacent guest house. This will provide not only a tranquil place for you to relax and recharge, but some
of Nova Scotia's breathtaking scenery is but a look out your window. The Intervale
River lies just steps away. A mile of river flows
through the 84 acres of property and provides a place to fish for brook trout and go for a
swim in our old fashioned swimming hole!
Eight miles of private trails also meander through the woods and along the river. Or, you can just relax
in our large screen porch overlooking the river!
Our Inn is located on the quiet west coast of unspoiled Cape Breton Island. We are conveniently located only 2 and a half hours from the
Halifax International Airport. The main entrance to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the Cabot Trail are one and a
half hours away.
Five minutes away, we have Cape Breton's Celtic Music Interpretive Center and the Tartan Gardens located right in Judiquel! COME AND VISIT!!!!!
